Assistant Buyer-Replenishment

What You’ll Do:

As an assistant buyer, you will work closely with our product manager, logistics coordinators, data team, and existing suppliers & vendors to ensure a consistent and efficient product flow for existing product SKU’s.  This will be a rapidly evolving, fast paced position within the company, that will require you to:

  • Assist in the development and execution of product strategy
  • Work with key product vendors to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Coordinate with product managers, logistics coordinators, and data team to monitor warehouse production and inventory levels
  • Participate in ongoing competitive sourcing across the marketplace and present relevant  trend research
  • Manage replenishment purchase orders based on production needs & goals
  • Document, communicate, coordinate, and schedule incoming replenishment product shipments
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels across all internal platforms
  • Build great relationships with key suppliers across all channels
  • Work with suppliers and product vendors to ensure that all receiving standards and requirements are met consistently
  • Leverage client feedback to build strong product assortments with a data-driven mindset

 

Who you are & what you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, and/or 2+ years of retail buying or buy-planning experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and love learning new systems
  • Knowledge of retail math and business metrics
  • A keen eye for valuable products & experiences
  • You love to innovate and are eager to create process improvements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You are excited to dive deep into data and use client feedback to drive product decisions
  • EXTREMELY detail-oriented and organized
  • You are a positive team player who is able to work independently
  • You excel in a fast-paced environment where change is the norm
